June 26: Thursday, Depart LOS ANGELES for LISBON via PARIS on Air France.
June 27: Friday, LISBON. Arrive LISBON. Meeting and transfer. Mass at the Birthplace of St. Anthony continue to your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Lisbon, including the monastery of Jeronymos, the Tower of Belem, the Cathedral and St. Charles Castle.
June 28: Saturday, LISBON/FATIMA. Morning drive to Fatima visiting Alcobaca and Batalha along the way. Transfer to your hotel. Evening Mass, devotions at the Chapel of Apparitions, where in Our Blessed Mother appeared to three shepherd children.
June 29: Sunday, FATIMA. 90th ANNIVERSARY OF THE LAST APPARITION OF FATIMA. Procession, Pontifical Mass and Blessing of the Sick. Visit the Basilica containing the Tombs of the Seers. Visit the Village of Fatima, the Homes of the Santos and Marto families, the place of the apparition of the angel and the parish church. Evening devotions, holy hour and mass at the Chapel of the Apparitions.
June 30: Monday, FATIMA/SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELLA. After breakfast depart to Santiago De Compostella to visit the Cathedral of St. James one of the finest example of architecture in all Europe. Dinner and overnight.
July 1: Tuesday, SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELLA. Mass at the 11th century cathedral with visits to its dependencies, also the Church of Santa Maria De Sar, Hostel De Los Reyes Catolica, Seminary of ST. Martin and Convent of San Francisco and the famed university... Dinner and Overnight.
July 2: Wednesday, SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELLA – SANTANDER.. Morning departure to Santander, you will travel along the coast Northern of Spain to Santander. Dinner and Overnight in Santander.
July 3: Thursday, SANTANDER/LOURDES: Joining the 54th U.S. National Lourdes Pilgrimage, IN THE JUBILEE YEAR MARKING THE 150th ANNIVERSARY OF THE APPARITIONS OF LOURDES. This morning you will travel through the Pyrenees to LOURDES, the great Pilgrimage Shrine where the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette in 1858. Transfer to your hotel. Check –in time to rest before Dinner. Attend the evening Candlelight Procession.
July 4: Friday, LOURDES - Breakfast. Mass of the Anointing, followed by procession to the Grotto for the placement of the Pilgrim Candle. Lunch. Afternoon, for those who are able, climb the Long Stations of the Cross, one of the highlights of a visit to Lourdes. For those who prefer, make the shorter Stations of the Cross. Dinner. Evening celebration of the 4th of July with music and dancing – Solitude Hotel.
July 5: Saturday, LOURDES – Mass. Optional day trip to St. Jean De Luz, a lovely seaside resort and fishing port – a cosmopolitan town with old world charm with many shops and cafes. Time to enjoy the beautiful beach of St. Jean de Luz. Box lunch provided. Dinner on own. Evening return to Lourdes. For those who do not wish to join this excursion, this day will be free for you in Lourdes to take of the Miraculous Waters of Lourdes, Baths of Lourdes.
July 6: Sunday, LOURDES – Mass at the Grotto of the Apparitions, followed by Walking Tour of Lourdes. Visit the places associated with the life of St. Bernadette: the Boly Mill where St. Bernadette was born, the Locade Mill, residence of her parents after 1864, the “Cachot,” formerly used as a jail where she lived at the time of the Apparitions, the Hospital and Chapel where St. Bernadette received her First Holy Communion and the Parish Church containing the Baptismal Font where Bernadette was Baptized. Lunch. Afternoon free to take of the Baths, Private Devotions and to visit the Upper and Lower Towns of Lourdes. 5:00PM Participate in the Afternoon Blessing of the Sick and Benediction. Dinner. Evening Candlelight Procession.
July 7: Monday, LOURDES - Breakfast. Morning departure for Paris. On arrival you will be met by your English Speaking Guide. Visit the Miraculous Medal Shrine at Rue du Bac where Mass will be celebrated. Visit the Shrine where our Blessed Mother appeared to St. Catherine Laboure, see the incorrupt body of St. Catherine and the remains of St. Louise De Marillac who together with St. Vincent founded the Daughters of Charity. Time for lunch on own. Depart for Nevers. Check-in to Hotel, Dinner and Overnight.
July 8: Tuesday, NEVERS. Mass at the Convent of St. Gildard in the Chapel containing the incorrupt Body of St. Bernadette to whom our Lady appeared in Lourdes. Visit the Convent where Bernadette spent the remainder of her earthly life after the Apparitions. Lunch at Espace St. Bernadette, followed by sightseeing of Nevers. Dinner and Overnight.
July 9: Wednesday, Depart Nevers for PARIS. Panoramic Sightseeing of Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Church of the Madeleine and Notre Dame Cathedral. Check-in hotel. Dinner and Overnight.
July 10: Thursday, PARIS – Breakfast. Depart for LISIEUX where Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel in Carmel where the remains of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, “The Little Flower,” rest. Visit Carmel, the Basilica of LISIEUX and the home of the Martin Family. Late afternoon return to Paris for dinner and overnight.
July 11: Friday, Depart PARIS. Charles De Gaulle International Airport for Los Angeles, arriving the same day.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS RESERVATIONS: DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS: Reservations may be secured upon receipt of your deposit in the sum of $300.00 per person. Your deposit should be submitted by Dec. 15, 2007. Second payment of $1000.00 due no later than March 1, 2008 and final payment is due April 15, 2008. After January 15, 2008, a late registration fee of $50.00 may be imposed. Final Payment is due April 15, 2008. EARLY RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. AIR TRANSPORTATION: via Economy Class, based on a non-refundable air fare. Airlines reserve the right to impose full cancellation penalties. Anyone wishing to deviate from the tour must request this in writing and the price of your air ticket will be determined on an individual basis. Airlines due impose a minimum of $100.00 deviation fee and a minimum $75.00 additional stop-over fee. Requests for deviations must be received at least 95 days prior to departure. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: This pilgrimage will be accommodated in superior 3 star hotels, based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with private bath and or shower. A limited number of single rooms are available at a supplemental charge and they are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. If you are traveling alone and prefer to share a room, we will do our best to assign you a roommate. Should a roommate not be available, you will be charged the single room supplement. MEALS: All Meals in Fatima and Lourdes and Nevers; Breakfast and Dinner in Lisbon, Santiago de Compostella , Santander and Paris SIGHTSEEING: Via deluxe air conditioned motorcoach, as specified in itinerary, English Speaking Tour Escort in Fatima & Santiago De Compostella and services of local, English Speaking Guides, all entrance fees unless otherwise noted in itinerary. TRANSFERS & PORTERAGE: Round-trip transfers between airport and hotel are included with assistance and porterage in hotels. Porterage for one suitcase per person. Individuals are responsible for their carry-on luggage. BAGGAGE: Allowed free of charge is one suitcase per person with a combined length, width and height of 62 inches with a maximum weight of 50 lbs, plus one carry-on bag with total dimensions of 40 inches and a maximum weight of 30 lbs. Catholic Travel accepts no liability for lost or damaged luggage. Baggage insurance is recommended and a traveler’s insurance application will be sent to you upon receipt of your reservation. AIRLINE SEAT ASSIGNMENTS: For group travel, seat assignments can be requested but will only be confirmed at check-in. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All participants must be in possession of a valid U.S. Passport and your passport must be valid for six months after your return to the U.S. If you are in possession of a passport from another Country other then the U.S., kindly contact us so that we can determine if any visas are required. AIRLINE TAXES AND SECURITY CHARGE: Airline taxes and security charges are not included in the price of the tour. The amount charged for this pilgrimage is indicated on the front of your itinerary and can be subject to change. CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Catholic Travel Office. For cancellations received 95 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of $150.00 cancellation fee is imposed. Within 60 days prior to departure a cancellation fee of $300.00 will be imposed. From 59 – 30 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee will be 50% of the cost of the Pilgrimage and within 30 days of departure, your cancellation fee will be 100%. Again all cancellations must be submitted in writing and the cancellation fees are determined on the day your cancellation notice is received. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE AND THE APPLICATION FORM FOR THIS WILL BE SENT TO YOU AT THE TIME WE RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT. FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment for this Pilgrimage is due no later than April 15, 2008. Failure to make your final payment by this date may result in the cancellation of your reservation and the forfeiture of your deposit. In addition to the above cancellation fees, once issued, airline tickets are non-refundable. Again, Traveler’s Insurance is strongly recommended. RESPONSIBILITY: CATHOLIC TRAVEL OFFICE and their agents act only in the capacity of agents in all matters pertaining to hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and all forms of transportation. Catholic Travel Office except for willful negligence on the part of its direct employees, is not responsible for any damage, loss (included but not limited to property loss, personal injury, loss of enjoyment, distress or life) caused by omissions of any supplier providing services for this pilgrimage or by any delays or changes in the itinerary, or acts or omissions by the tour leader. Catholic Travel Office reserves the right to cancel the pilgrimage at any time, to substitute a tour leader if necessary or to make changes in the itinerary whenever their sole judgment determines that conditions warrant a change or in their sole judgment, changes will improve the comfort, convenience and safety of the tour. The price of the tour is based on a minimum number of passengers which is indicated on your itinerary. If the minimum is not met, the price of the tour will be increased. The price of the tour is also based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect August 1, 2007. While we make every effort to keep these rates firm, they can be subject to increase. Airlines involved in this itinerary are not responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft or conveyance. The reservation and ticket issued for the passengers on this pilgrimage will constitute a sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of this tour.
